The Freeborn County Fairgrounds is not just for the annual fair. We are easily accessible from I-90 and I-35 and can accommodate a small birthday party in our four season Fairlane Building to a large RV rally.

The fairgrounds encompass approximately 45 acres and has several buildings that can be rented for a variety of shows, meetings, parties, weddings, RV rallies and livestock shows.

The Fairlane Community Building is air conditioned with a full service kitchen and public restrooms and has hosted several large weddings.

The swine barn, cattle barn, horse barn and judging arena can be used for non-fair livestock ad horse shows. Recently we have hosted the Tennessee Walk show, Cowboy Mounted Shoot Horse show, March Madness and the Spring Barrow show.

Freeborn county fairgrounds hosted the Midwest Regional FMCA Motor co and the Holiday Ramblers. In 2011 The Red Power Show was held at the fairgrounds.

We have over 125 50 amp electric hook-ups, 30 sites with 30- amp and over 170 20 amp plug-ins.

There are 44 sites with water and sewer and three dump stations. There are three large exhibit halls perfect for vendor booths, meeting and seminar rooms and a grandstand that seats 4500 people, plus a beer garden.

During the fall and winter months the buildings are used for storage of cars, campers, and boats. Call ahead to (***) ***-**** to reserve a space.
