Christmas Traditions of 1900 will be the theme throughout Dakota City Heritage Village. The horse-drawn trolley* will transport you through the village streets as you explore the traditions of Christmas 1900s style. Join in the caroling, warm yourself by an inviting wood-burning stove, and delight in the demonstrations of woodworking and holiday cooking as our villagers prepare for Christmas.

As a special treat, a presentation of A Christmas Carol will be featured in Ahlberg Hall by Childrens Castle Theater. Dont forget to visit St. Nicholas!

* Please note that the Dakota City Trolley will be pulled by a team of horses from 2:00 6:00 pm daily weather permitting. The trolley will be pulled by a tractor at other times.
