The Annual Magical Christmas in Glenwood is scheduled from mid-November through the month of December. Witness our beautiful lighted holiday parade, living Nativity scene, free movie night and MORE!

All of our events during this magical celebration are FREE and open to the public! Thanks to our sponsors for bringing these activities to the community each year! 2017 Magical Christmas in Glenwood Schedule

-November 30, 2017: Magical Christmas in Glenwood Kick-Off
5:30 p.m. - Lighted Holiday Parade (Click here to register for this event)
6:15-6:30 p.m. - Tree Lighting Ceremony, Central Square Cultural & Civic Center
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. - Free Movie & Concessions Night at Central Square Cultural & Civic Center

-December 7: 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Free Community Supper at the Glenwood Senior Center
Menu: Pulled Pork Sandwich, Chips, Salad and dessert, Catered by Hatchery Catering
Clueless the Balloon Twister & Friends
Coloring Contest
Horse & Wagon Rides, Erickson's Petting Zoo


-December 12: 10:00 a.m., CP Rail Lighted Holiday Train , Glenwood CP Rail Depot
Train arrives 10:00 a.m.
Hearts & Hands Food Shelf Drive (drop your items at one of the collection sites, or bring that morning to the depot. Collection sites: Central Square, Glenwood Chamber & Welcome Center, Eagle Bank, Glacial Hills Elementary School, Glenwood State Bank, Kingdom Kids and Minnewaska Elementary School,
Show - 10:15-10:45 - Performers: Terri Clark, Dallas Smith & Kelly Prescott
FREE Hot Chocolate & Cookies to be served while supplies last by The Oak Tree Inn & Penny's Diner (allow a little extra time for parking)
