Every July 4, the St. Peter Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host more than 10,000 revelers for the Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The Old-Fashioned Parade and Picnic in the Park quickens the pulse of the community with excitement of live music, variety of food vendors, children's activities, a hot dog eating contest, and spectacular fireworks display. This event blends old traditions with new attractions and promises to provide entertainment for all ages.

Food vendors, beer tent, hot dog eating contest, Comedian/Magician Michael Callahan as emcee, live music, activities for kids including pony rides, kiddie train, inflatable games, and water slide. Join the party in the park!
