The Association is a non-profit organization that owns 92.5 acres of land and is operated by "wonderful" volunteers. All profits from the dues, raffles, food stands, ticket stand, flea market, swap meet, crafters, grain, bookstore and general store are used for the expenses for the festival, new buildings, equipment and attractions, and for the increased viewing pleasure of the public.
