| Description: | From La Crescent Apple Festival Website: The Apple Festival is La Crescent's major community festival held the third weekend of September. Thousands of visitors watch the parade on Sunday. Stop at the pie tent to buy a whole apple pie or enjoy a slice at the chicken-que tent. Each year, during Applefest, the La Crescent Chamber of Commerce sponsors an Arts and Crafts Fair at the Elementary School. Vendors offering a variety of products bring their wares to La Crescent for this event.
