| Description: | All New Members from 2011 have a chance to display their finest pieces the 2012 Artist Invitational. This is the open house held in their honor on January 8, from 1-4pm. If you submit something for this show, please plan on attending the house held in your honor! Come one and all as we will have food and drink available. This will also be a tax free day for those want to purchase anything in the gallery. Even art supplies are tax free that day. Come and check out the new artists and see what else the art center is doing in 2012 and beyond. For information on who can submit and what the standard commission rates are, please read on. Every new member has the chance to display up to 6 different pieces in this show depending on how many new members participate. All art work must be to the center by December December 31, 2011 by 4pm. You can drop off your work during normal business hours from 12-4 Wednesdays through Sundays. All items must be priced and must be completely framed, wired, and if you can, back them thereby making them more professional in appearance. General commission rates does apply which since this is a members only show will be 30% to the Art Center and 70% to the artist. No other fees apply for this show other then the membership level of your choice. Membership levels start at $20 and go up from there. Now is the time to get a membership as it will be good all the way though 2012 as well as will allow you to get into this show! The Art Center looks forward to having you as a member! The open house for this show is scheduled for 1/8/12 from 1pm-4ppm. If you submit art pieces to this show, please plan on being around for the open house which is held in your honor!
