| Description: | The Twin Cities Snowshoe Shuffle (TCSS) is the biggest snowshoe race in Minnesota! Participants come from around the country to participate in this fun and challenging winter race. The TCSS is the 3rd largest regional qualifier for the US Snowshoe Association's 2012 Dion National Snowshoe Championship race. The race is also part of the Braveheart Series, a free series that allows racers to earn points and win free prizes. There are 3 courses: a 5K and a 10K track set up for the racers and a "fun run" course set up for the kids! Awards are given to the top 3 men and women finishers in each of 7 age categories, which are listed on the registration form. The race will be officially timed by Hanger51 Software. Not that serious? This event is fun for people of all ages and abilities. Walking or running with snowshoes is a fun and healthy activity. The TCSS a great opportunity to get outside with your friends or family! | |||
