Description: Come and learn techniques of working with rawhide in this two day workshop. Participants will make their own two sided hand drum to take home. hand drums are used for many occasions by Native American People. Registration required by March 10th. Discounted hotel rooms are available on Saturday night for workshop participants. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. A minimum of 5 participants required. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Mille Lacs Indian Museum & Trading Post is located in district I of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Reservation on the southwest shore of beautiful lake Mille Lacs. It is located on the corner of Hwy 169 and Oodena Drive, one block southeast of Grand Casino Mille Lacs. It is eight miles south of Garrison, MN and twelve miles north of Onamia, MN.
