| Description: | The City of Lakes Loppet is the largest urban ski event in North America. The Loppet is the winter equivalent of a major running marathon. Loppet festival weekend includes non-competitive events like the Caribou Coffee Luminary Loppet, the Sons of Norway Minne-Loppet and the REI Tour as well as the Loppet Freestyle, a 32 kilometer race, and the Hoigaards Classic, a 25 kilometer race - all right in the heart of Minneapolis. | |
